Meet the Doctor

Dr. Sharon Ostermeir is a Holistic Chiropractor with over 38 years of experience as the owner of Commack Chiropractic Care. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Bridgeport and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College.

As a Board-eligible Neurology Diplomate, she also holds certifications in Pediatrics, Women's Health, and Nutrition, emphasizing a holistic approach to care. Dr. Sharon is certified in the Webster technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment for pregnant women. Her practice focuses on structural, nutritional, and emotional balance, encouraging lifestyle changes for optimal health. She enjoys providing care for every member of the family from infants to grandparents. She has been adjusting her three adult children since the day they were born.

After the passing of her husband, Dr. Sharon embarked on a journey of rebuilding her life, which inspired her to help others, especially widows, transform their lives. To enhance her support for clients and patients, she became a certified Life and Success Coach, offering personalized one-on-one and group coaching sessions to support others that want to transform their lives as well.

Dr. Teresa Delea joined Commack Chiropractic Care in 2022. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic and a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Sacred Heart University. Dr. Teresa is certified in the Webster technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment for pregnant women. She actively is working towards her pediatric certification through the ICPA. She specializes in treating moms to be, infants and young children.

Dr. Teresa is from East Northport and moved back with her husband after graduating chiropractic school in Florida. She knew she wanted to be a chiropractor after being a chiropractic patient her whole life, her first adjustment was at just 3 days old.
